Greenpoint to Canal st
Today I leaned / scrubbed / siliconed my
bike derailleur and chain.
riding then felt so smooth that i just decided to ride up the williamsburg
bridge as fast as I could.
saw a guy getting on it with and expensive aluminum/carbon fiber $2K
bike and proper outfit.
left him way behind keeping a comfortable 16 MPH uphill speed.
went to Greenpoint - waited for the rainstorm to stop.
went to grab lunch at the polish restaurant where single elderly nostalgic
men often eat alone.
White Borscht + mashed potatoes + lemonade $2.25 total.
rode back to chinatown
to buy CR2 batteries for cheap.
a store got busted for selling counterfeit goods.
at the corner you can see alert chinese ladies standing with color copy
catalogs of their fake designer bags in their hands.
people that want to buy are taken to some secret entrance to some basement
or backroom.
I wonder why I can always tell who a tourist is.
Maybe no one from NYC wears those pastel colors.
But I don't know exactly what it is.
